Bilingual provider needed to join our diverse and dedicated staff. We are seeking a professional who is committed to improving access and quality in this age of high tech and healthcare reform. The providerworks in collaboration with an assigned care team and under the guidance of a licensed physician to provide health care services in accordance with accepted standards of medical practice.
There are two main areas of responsibility for this role. The first is to provide services on a limited daily schedule to patients with urgent health needs, who cannot be seen by their assigned primary care provider that day.
The second area of responsibility is management of EHR in-baskets for a team of medical providers. Responsibilities include triaging in-basket messages and flagging them for the primary care provider to handle, or handling the messages directly. Activities will include reviewing and communicating lab results and imaging results to patients, contacting patients to answer questions, provide or gather necessary information, managing medication refills, following up on hospital stays, reviewing reports resulting from outside referrals, and other similar duties. Substantial administrative time will be allocated to manage these responsibilities.
Providers are expected to adhere to health center productivity standards, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and work toward achieving clinical quality goals. Our busy medical practice consists of English and Spanish speaking patients of all ages.
