Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant to their team. The position will include four days in the clinic and one day in the OR (first assist). Also, the new PA will rotate within an Orthopaedic Prompt Care Clinic. The new PA will work directly with two Orthopaedic Surgeons (general and sports cases). The PA will run their own orthopaedic clinic in parallel to the doctors. Responsibilities include: first assisting in the OR, pre and post H&P’s, injections (small joint and sin-visc), writing scripts, consultation and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. This modern clinic has Digital X-Ray, EMR, PT and MRI. With this position, the call is optional and if desired it is paid.
Successful candidate must be NCCPA-certified. This group will train a new graduate with an orthopaedic rotation and California license (or close to receiving it).
Base salary is open, plus there is paid call and productivity bonus plan. Additionally, there is an excellent benefit package.
