Physician Assistant – Orthopaedics (WILL TRAIN!!)
Due to growth, this Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their team. The position is focused on treating patients (adult and pediatric) with upper extremity (shoulder, hand, wrist and elbow) and the balance general orthopaedic cases. The new PA will run their own clinic, seeing up to 20 to 25 patients a day. The position consists of four days in the clinic and one day in the OR. Call is very minimal.
Additional day to day responsibilities include: injections, removing casts and pins, reductions, consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions, reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Candidates must have a Virginia license or one pending. Preference for experienced candidates, but they will train a newer PA candidate. This position is located in a great suburban area that is only 60 minutes to DC. The area has strong educational systems, several colleges and lots of things to do.
Compensation: Base salary range: Open (depends on experience), plus a bonus. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
