Physician Assistant – Orthopaedics (Trauma) WILL TRAIN!
Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Trauma Fellowship seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The PA will be an integral part of an orthopaedic trauma team working with cutting edge technology. Cases include some general orthopaedics, open and closed fractures, and shoulder and knees. This mostly Hospital based position includes ED consults, rounding, inpatient management and a strong percentage of first assists. Position can be one 24 hour shift and alternating weekends or two 12 hour shifts and alternating weekends.
Additional day-to-day responsibilities include: patient evaluations, injections, removing casts and pins, first assist, reductions, consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible, highly motivated and hard working. This group is located in a state-of-the-art-facility that has EMR, Digital X-ray and PT/OT on site.

Compensation: Open, plus bonus. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
