Well-respected Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will directly work with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. The new PA will handle a good volume of sports cases (knee and shoulders) and general fracture care. The position will be focused in the clinic with the new PA running their-own orthopaedic clinic. This is a very successful and high volume orthopaedic sports practice.
Responsibilities include: patient evaluations, H&P’s, cortisone and trigger point injections, fracture care, rounding, injections, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. There is no call. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Previous orthopaedic experience preferred. The group will train a recent graduate. This location is low cost of living area, voted one of the best smaller college towns in America (West Virginia University) and you can enjoy the great outdoors and many cultural amenities.
Compensation: Excellent compensation, plus loan repayment and sign on bonus. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
