Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The new PA/NP will be part of a fast moving team working directly with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. Cases include shoulders, knees (ACL), hip scopes, general and fracture care. He also handles all levels of athletes and this group is the team doctors for a professional team. This position will be focused on the clinic. The PA/NP responsibilities include: handling H&P’s and provide removing casts and pins, perform joint aspiration and injections, consultation and patient evaluation and education, and review lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.
Successful candidate must be Board-Certified. The group prefers an experienced Orthopaedic PA/NP, but will train a new PA/NP with an Orthopaedic rotation and the following: ATC, PT, Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology Undergraduate degree. The location is in a beautiful suburb of the Dallas, TX area. The new PA/NP should have a Texas license or have started the TX license application process.
Compensation: Base salary range is open, plus a bonus. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
