Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. This position is a split between the OR and the clinic. There is onsite PT, MRI, Digital X-Ray and the Hospital is located very conveniently to the practice. This PA will work directly with this Doctor and handle mostly spine cases with some general. The Doctor handles the latest minimal invasive technology and very complex cases and has top educational credentials. There is minimal ER call coverage required. Also, the PA can work (for additional compensation) in an Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center.
The new PA will provide H&P’s, surgical first assist, rounding, writing scripts, consultation and patient evaluation and education, injections, order and evaluate X-Rays, CT scans and MRI’s and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, independent and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Preference is for an experienced Orthopaedic PA or they will train a recent graduate with an orthopaedic rotation and a current Ohio license or one pending. The location is within one hour from Cleveland and the area offers very low cost of living, very good schools and excellent quality of life.
Compensation: Base salary range: Depends on experience, plus bonus potential. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
