Single Specialty Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will work directly with a Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This Doctor has a specialty treating shoulder, elbow as well as general orthopaedic cases and utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques and technology. There is a strong focus on total joints cases and some general orthopaedic cases. The group has a state-of-the-art PT Center within the building and they are conveniently located near the Hospital.
The position includes both the OR (first assists) and the clinic! The new PA will provide patient evaluation and education, first assist, injections, joint aspirations and facture care, writing scripts, rounds and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified, enjoys surgery, confident and is able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. This Doctor has an easy going personality and enjoys training a new graduate that has a passion for orthopaedics. The practice is ideally situation within 15 minutes of Canton.
Compensation: Excellent (depends on experience), plus a RVU based bonus plan. In addition, there is an excellent benefits package which includes 25 days PTO, full healthcare, CME, tuition reimbursement plan, pension etc.
