St. Peter's Health Partners and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital have an excellent part time employment opportunity for a licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in Rehabilitation to join an its team of dedicated healthcare providers located in Schenectady, New York. 

Advanced Practitioners will work in collaboration with the rehabilitation team and will have access to 24/7 Internal Medicine physician consultants, as well as most medical/surgical subspecialties. The patient populations for which the successful candidate will provide care includes both neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses. Duties will include completion of admission Histories and Physicals, patient management, and preparation of discharge prescriptions, as well as narrative summaries.

Advanced Practitioners interested in applying for these unique opportunities should be a graduate of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program. They will be Board Certified and possess New York state licensure, DEA, ACLS and BLS certifications. Applicants should also possess excellent clinical, communication, organizational, and time management skills as well as a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented. They must also demonstrate a working knowledge of rehabilitation policy and procedures.
