Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Fellowship seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant to the team. The new PA will work directly with this Doctor in both the OR and the clinic (50%/50%). Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred, but the Doctor will train a new PA with a strong sports/orthopaedic background (especially ATC). The PA should have completed an orthopaedic rotation. The new PA can also work for extra pay in an Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center. Call is 1/8.

- Initial evaluations
- Joint aspiration and injections
- Pre-op and Post-op H&P’s
- Reductions of fractures and dislocations
- Write scripts
- Coordinate with Physical Therapist and ATC’s
- Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRI
- Casting and splinting
- Possibility to run clinics
- Hospital rounds
