Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent

Location:
New York, NY – Harlem / Manhattan area
Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Work Schedule: Part-Time, 24hrs/week, 3 days a week

Duties: This Physician Assistant will work within a busy community health clinic performing direct patient care for primary, preventative, and communicable diseases. Will also collaborate with the Care Manager in managing patients medical treatment plans. Responsibilities to include, but may not be limited to: obtaining medical histories, physical assessment, order diagnostic and laboratory studies, diagnose and treat common illnesses, medication management, wound care, patient education, and clinical documentation into electronic medical record system.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Clean and current New York state Physician Assistant licensure
- Experience serving marginalized populations is a plus to include: sex workers, homeless, formerly incarcerated, drug users / addicts, LGBT, etc.
- Must be comfortable working independently and possess self-leadership
- The ideal candidate will be an extremely compassionate, patient, and understanding individual with a strong sense of problem solving skills
