Mount Saint Joseph Residence & Rehabilitation (MSJ) has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in practicing Geriatric, Behavioral Health, or Palliative Medicine to join an award winning long-term care facility located in Waterville, Maine

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians within this 138 bed long-term care facility to admit and evaluate new residents and perform history and examinations. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is also responsible for addressing identified risks, medications, and rehab recommendations, seeing patients in the sub-acute unit, coordinating resident transfers to the ER, readmission of residents, and transitional care of residents.

Minimum required qualifications for this opportunity include: 
- Successful completion of an accredited NP program 
- NP or PA Certification 
- Eligible to obtain State of Maine RN and NP Licenses
- Active and Current DEA 
- ACLS and BLS Certification

Mount Saint Joseph Residence and Rehabilitation (MSJ) is a 138-bed long-term care facility that includes 111 skilled nursing beds and 27 assisted living beds, including 34 behavioral health beds. MSJ has been caring for the people of Waterville and its surroundings since 1966. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon, Mount Saint Joseph takes pride in providing person-centered care that emphasizes quality of life. A nonprofit organization, MSJ is funded with federal and state dollars and charitable donations made by families and the community.
