Well-established and respected Single Specialty Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a Physician Assistant. This PA will work directly with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. The position is approximately 70% clinic and the balance in the OR (first assist). The new PA will run their own clinic as well as rotate within an Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center. These Doctors handle total joint, knees (ACL), shoulders (rotator cuffs), elbow, fractures and general cases. The new PA will be part of a fast moving team that utilizes the latest technology and surgical techniques. Responsibilities include: first assist, pre and post H&P’s, write scripts, fracture management, injections, coordinate with PT/OT, consultation, rounding and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.
Successful candidate should be certified. Candidates must have orthopaedic experience, with the exception of a new PA that has any of the following (ATC, PT/OT, Ortho Tech. and Exercise Physiology). The location is in Southern New Hampshire and is within one hour to Boston. The area provides great quality of life, outdoor recreational activities and all the amenities of the Boston area. The group would prefer candidates with ties to the region.
Compensation: Salary is open (depends on experience). Additionally, there is an excellent full benefits package provided.
