Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks to add an additional Physician Assistant to the team. This group handles a high volume of general, sports and total joint cases. The new PA will be split between clinic and the OR. Responsibilities include: first assist, patient evaluations, injections, rounding, removing casts and pins, reductions, ER consults, patient education, ordering diagnostic tests, writing prescriptions, discharge reports and reviewing lab results. In addition, the PA will can also work within an orthopaedic urgent care facility for additional compensation. There is no call on this position.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible, organized, self-starter, able to work independently and able to work in a team-oriented environment. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred; however, the group will train a very bright and self-motivated PA! New graduates must have done an orthopaedic rotation and have a connection to the region. The location is on the very western suburbs of Philadelphia close to Coatesville.
