Well-regarded private Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their team. The position is a combination of clinic and the OR (surgical first assisting). The group has their own Digital X-Ray, MRI and PT Center. The new PA will handle sports cases (shoulder and knees),total joints, fractures and general. Responsibilities include: patient evaluations and education, removing casts and pins, consultation, ordering and reviewing lab tests, writing scripts, rounds, injections and first assist. The new PA will have the opportunity to run a clinic. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified and should have an Illinois license or have submitted all paperwork and is close to receiving their license. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred, but the group will train a new graduate with an orthopaedic rotation and that is from the Chicago area! The group prefers local candidates and candidates must have ties to the area.
The new PA will be employed by the Orthopaedic Group and will have a very competitive compensation and benefits plan. The position is located in an upscale Chicago suburban area that is only a 25 minute drive to Chicago. Compensation: Base salary range: Open (depends on experience), plus a bonus. Production bonus is a percentage of net collections.
