NP/PA - Neurology - Columbia, SC - Locum

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a Neurology NP/PA Locum Tenens for coverage at a hospital in Columbia, SC starting April 2023 for 13 weeks.

Schedule:
Shifts- would be a mix of both day and nights
The shifts are 12 hours from either 6a-6p or 6p-6a
Provider MUST be open to working both days and nights
Can offer 10-12 shifts per month

Provider Requirements:
Neuro ICU experience (1-2 years)
AHA BLS, ACLS, SC license
Previous experience in a trauma center, comprehensive stroke center or busy medical ICU preferred
Must have worked within past 90 days in specialty
Providers must be current with both COVID and Flu Vaccines

Facility/Job Details:
EMR: Epic
Technology: PACS radiology
Procedures: central lines, lumbar punctures, arterial lines, suturing incisions, managing vasopressors and sedation These red procedures would not be a “make or break”
Daily Census: 30-50 patients-divided between 14 neuro ICU and 10-15 Trauma ICU in addition to 20-30 floor/ step down patients (shared with hospitalists)
Patient population is adult and pediatrics
Level 1 Trauma Center
Duties to include daily rounds, notes, orders, consults, admits and discharges
