Bangor, Maine: We have FOUR positions available for confident, compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join Maine’s largest FQHC / community health center. This organization offers an integrated Medical Home Model and provides services to all, including primary care, addiction treatment, dental care, chiropractic services, women’s health, podiatry, physical therapy, and mental health care. A Pediatric Psych NP will join a thriving pediatrics practice and offer an outpatient mix of therapy, med management, and family counseling in a highly collaborative environment. Enjoy a convenient weekday schedule with NO call! Become part of a terrific mental health team of Psychiatrists, Psych NPs and social workers. Having outgrown their space, this practice just moved into an all new medical arts building with a smart design and comfortable facilities for patients and providers.
An Adult/Geriatric Psych NP will join a respected Geriatrics Team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in a primarily inpatient role providing mental health counseling to seniors and adults with unique needs in nursing homes, long-term care facilities and patient homes. A part time schedule is available, if preferred.
An Adult/Family Psych NP may choose between two practices: Join the largest practice in Bangor where over two dozen providers offer services ranging from primary care, urgent care and addiction recovery through chiropractic and women’s health. Join other mental health professionals seeing a mix of adults/families for outpatient counseling/therapy and med management. Or, join a smaller health center adjacent to a shelter for the homeless and those in transitional housing. Work with a dedicated team of psychiatrists, family medicine physicians, psychotherapists, and licensed clinical social workers providing mental health, recovery treatment and medication-assisted treatment to the neediest adults in the community.
