Honolulu, Oahu, HI: We invite an ACUTE CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER to join an excellent 400+ bed acute-care medical center in Honolulu – on Oahu, the most populous of the Hawaiian Islands. Become part of the respected staff of the largest private nonprofit medical center in Honolulu – founded more than 150 years ago. This Level 1 Trauma Center, with a medical staff of over 1000, is also a Magnet hospital, designated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

This thriving medical center is ready to hire a certified Acute Care NP or AG-ACNP to join the full time inpatient staff of the medical center’s Cardiology / Cardiovascular Surgery unit. This is an attractive day shift role where, as part of a respected group of clinicians, you will provide inpatient care, performing tests, developing treatment plans, managing medications, referring to the cardiac surgery team, and providing pre- and post-op care. Maintaining communication and providing education to patients and families is also key in this role.

While professional NP experience is ideal, newly certified NPs with RN experience in relevant roles (such as inpatient post-surgical ICU care) are encouraged to apply.
