Physician Assistant Solutions was founded in 2007 by Matt Ledges. Matt practiced as a PA for 2 years and then applied to medical school. During his emergency medicine residency, Matt developed PAS as a small company—placing PAs regionally—before expanding throughout the United States. In 2010, Matt began to recruit PAs to join him as recruiters to help with expansion.
Mark Roberts, PA-C, was the first PA to join Physician Assistant Solutions in 2010 as a recruiter. Mark was attracted to PAS while looking at a job advertisement posted by founder, Matt Ledges. Mark visited the PAS website and learned that Matt was seeking more PAs to join his recruiting company as recruiters. The timing was perfect. Mark had been in clinical practice for 12 years at this time and was interested in business ownership and also interested in helping PAs find satisfaction in their careers. Mark began as a recruiter and grew his home territory of Texas. Mark continued recruiting and also took on a regional manager role of the south central United States by the end of 2010.
Joel Kutz, PA-C, also joined the company in 2010. Joel has worked with thousands of PAs to help find the perfect fit to form successful partnerships. Joel was responsible for growing his territory in the Midwest and became a regional manager by the end of 2010. In 2012, Joel helped lead PAS through its greatest cycle of growth and his concepts and just plain hard work has brought PAS to the next level.
In 2017, Mark Roberts and Joel Kutz acquired the company from Matt Ledges.
